In all livestock operations, the approach to any one physiological phase is not more important than the other. Rather, a symbiotic transition between the phases is a favoured approach, and one which we believe in at 4Mix. Furthermore, extra care and attention within each of the conceptual phases such as calf rearing, heifer management, lactating cows, dry cows and the transitional stage are necessary measures. In conjunction with external experts and local experts, we believe we have the concepts to optimize the health and therefore production within each phase; and therein specially formulated products to care for either rumen development or rumen health to ensure the best conditions for optimal production.
